Booster hose FAQs
Q. What is the difference between BH-500, BH-600 and BH-800 Fire Engine Booster Hose?
A. The BH-500 (1-1/2”) is 250 PSI working pressure and BH-800 (3/4” & 1”) is 800 PSI working
pressure. Each hose is several plys thick and is engineered with a rubber outer wall for durability.
The BH-600 is available in 1” and features 300 PSI working pressure. The design and construction makes this
lightweight hose ideal for forestry and field operations.
Q. What lengths is Booster Fire Hose available in?
A. Nominal sizes include 50’, 75’, 100’, 150’ and 200’ lengths.
Rawhide Fire Hose also offers custom lengths of booster hose specific to your application or project.
Q. What chemicals are Booster Fire Hose compatible with?
A. Our BH-500 and BH-800 are constructed with a SBR/NBR liner (styrene-butadiene and nitrile rubber), while the BH-600 features a polyurethane liner.
